Daily Announcements

November 20th, 2024

This Friday is a dress down day. Pay $1.00 to your first period teacher if you choose to participate. Please remember NO HOLES/ NO LEGGINGS and NO SWEATPANTS of any kind.

The Business Professionals of America classes will be starting our annual BPA Food-For-Friends drive on Monday November 4th and running through Thanksgiving.

This is the second of our three Community Service projects for the year.

Last year we delivered 6,589 pounds of food to the Dayton Food Bank. That total was a record for all the years we have been doing this. The Food Bank people tell me that one pound of food is equal to one meal for one person. So we were able to provide 6500+ meals to the hungry in Greene County.  More people than ever before are making use of the Food Bank and food pantries to be able to feed their families. Hopefully we can equal or surpass this record total this year.

Students will be asked to gather non-perishable food items to be donated to the Dayton Food Bank. The Dayton Food Bank distributes these donations to the various food pantries in Greene County.

Anyone wishing to donate can bring items to room 2160 (Info Tech) or call me at ext. 2160 and I will send students to pick your items up.
