It is critical that teen drivers understand why they shouldn’t drive impaired! Driving impaired can result in strict penalties and loss of license. In 2019, 60% of drivers aged 15–20 who were killed in motor vehicle crashes after drinking and driving were not wearing a seat belt (based on known restraint use). Remember to never drive under the influence of any kind and to always buckle up!
